Stamford Town Partnership
Stamford Town Partnership exists to promote the future of Stamford, a thriving market town of almost 20,000 and often quoted as England’s finest stone town.
Stamford Town Partnership was established in 2000 as a partnership between all layers of local government, business, the voluntary and educational sectors and community groups. The first task undertaken was public consultation to find out what the townspeople wanted to see happen to their town.
Their views became encompassed in Vision 2015, a document which sets out Stamford Town Partnership’s objectives and an action plan to achieve them.

Stamford Promotional Film
Below is a link to a promotional film the Marketing and Tourism Group has produced with grateful thanks to the Welland SSP for funding and managing this process for us. This is an excellent example of ‘partnership working’ for Stamford with input also from Richard Barry of the Urban group and produced locally by Martin Tempest of Image Productions.
