Bribery Act Delayed

The Bribery Act due to come into force this April has been delayed indefinitely.

The reason given is that the Ministry of Justice want to give companies clear guidelines on how they implement the Act. As these will not be ready in time implementation has been delayed.

When the Act does come into force it will bring the UK in line with the USA and other countries which have robust legislation to combat bribery.
